Supported Living
Our supported living offers a range of services and community living accommodation across Essex.
We aim to deliver first class quality care to meet the needs of each individual we support. Our team prides themselves on respecting the rights, needs and choices of the person whilst teaching them new skills to encourage independence in their own home. At Aldanat Care we actively promote equality and diversity, we believe that people with learning disabilities have the same fundamental rights as others in society and this includes the right to develop and make informed choices about their lives.
What is supported living?
Supported Living empowers people to choose where they live, how they live and how they spend their time. Support is tailored to meet their needs and achieve their goals while offering structure and routine to enhance quality of life.
We work closely with both private Landlords and Housing Associations to find and match properties to an individual’s needs. People are supported to maintain their own tenancies, budget their finances and pay their bills to prepare them for more independent living.
Accommodation is paired with individualised support packages, this would typically be 24/7 support depending on the need of the person. Our supported living service covers areas in Essex, including Clacton, Harwich, Harlow, Colchester, Kirby Le Soken, Walton on the Naze and Marks Tey, however we do work alongside private landlords and we could offer other areas in Essex.

Supported living allows people to live more independently enabling them to make informed choices about where and how they live.
Supported living does not mean minimal support. Every person is assessed on an individual needs basis and their care package is tailored around this.
